The area is lined with restaurants and souvenir shops,

Our community manager is available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM to assist you during your stay.

At Kotori, we prioritize providing a comfortable and healthy sleeping environment during your stay. To ensure a restful sleep, all rooms are equipped with carefully selected "Nishikawa AIR01" mattresses.

Despite the reasonable price, we’ve ensured a comfortable sleep with high-quality mattresses. Some areas have a low ceiling, giving the space a cozy, hidden retreat feel. Each bed is equipped with a reading light and power outlet.

A 2-meter ladder is required to access the beds. If you're uncomfortable with heights, we recommend booking a semi-private dormitory.

RULES

Important Information Before Booking

  • The facility uses self-check-in via tablet, and a passcode is required for entry.
  • Instructions for check-in and entry will be sent to your registered email address upon booking or via the chatbox on the reservation platform by 12:00 PM the day before your check-in date. Please ensure you check your email. If you don’t receive it, please contact us by 6:00 PM on your check-in day.

About the Facility

  • The entire facility is non-smoking.
  • Staff will be unavailable from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM the following day.
  • Showers, toilets, and washrooms are shared with other guests.
  • There is no elevator, and the stairs are steep, so please be cautious with large luggage.
  • This is a hostel with limited amenities and no soundproofing.
  • No dangerous items are allowed.
  • Pets are not allowed (except service animals).
  • Quiet hours are after 10:00 PM.
  • Follow kitchen rules, keeping the area clean.
  • Turn off air conditioning and lights after using shared spaces.

Accommodation

  1. You can access the guest area and your room after check-in. (Check-in hours: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM.)
  2. Self-check-in is via tablet. Staff are available from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM if you need assistance.
    Use the check-in code or scan your QR code on the tablet at the 1st-floor entrance to receive the key code for both the entrance door and your room.
    You will also receive an email with the access instructions, but it’s recommended to take a photo of the on-screen instructions.
    Register your guest information in advance for smoother check-in.
  3. Please enter the guest entrance unlock number into the number key at the 1st floor guest entrance to enter the building.
  4. To enter your room, please enter the room unlock code into the code key on the door.
  5. You can use the free space and co-working space from 9:00 on the day of check-in.
Check-out: 10:00 AM
  1. Please check out (leave the facility) by 10:00 AM.
  2. Please check out via tablet using the check-in code.
  3. Ensure all belongings are taken when leaving.
  4. You can use the free space and coworking area until 6:00 PM on check-out day.
Policies
  • Children under elementary school age cannot stay, even with a guardian.
    Please note that due to the nature of the facility, such as bunk beds and shower facilities, we are unable to adequately accommodate preschool children.
  • Guests under 18 must submit a parental consent form by email before the day of check-in.

What to Bring
  • Please bring your own sleepwear, comb, hairbrush, facial wash, and skincare items.

Luggage Storage

Before Check-in
  • If you plan to send your luggage via courier, please contact us by email before shipping.
    We may not be able to receive your luggage depending on the delivery date and time.
    Cash on delivery is not accepted.
    Packages sent without prior notice cannot be accepted.
On Check-in Day
  • We can store your luggage starting from 9:00 AM. Please speak to the staff on the first floor.
  • Depending on the type of luggage, you may be directed to the second-floor luggage space, so please allow extra time.
During Your Stay
  • Luggage Space:
    Large suitcases that don't fit in the dormitory room can be stored in the luggage space.
    A free wire lock is provided, but make sure to lock your luggage.
    Guests are responsible for their own belongings, and the facility cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft.
  • Valuables Locker (Dormitory Only):
    Each dormitory bed is equipped with a valuables locker.
    Set your preferred combination on the dial lock.
    Guests are responsible for managing their own valuables.
After Check-out
  • We can store your luggage until 6:00 PM on the day of check-out. Please speak to the staff.
  • Luggage storage is available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There will be no staff available from 6:00 PM onwards.
  • If you would like to store your luggage, please bring it to the first floor.
    If you’re returning to retrieve your luggage later than 6:00 PM, please contact us by 5:00 PM.
