Check-In and Check-Out
- What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in hours are from 3 PM to 12 AM, while check-out is by 10 AM.
Our facility features a tablet-based self-check-in system, allowing you to check in even when staff are not on site.
- Is it possible to store my luggage prior to check-in?

Yes, you can store your luggage starting at 9 AM on the day of check-in. Please ask the staff on the 1st floor for assistance. If you plan to return after 6:00 PM, please let us know in advance.
Please note that you may be directed to the luggage room on the second floor, so please allow extra time in your schedule.
If you intend to send your luggage to our facility, please contact us prior to shipping.
*Packages sent without prior notice cannot be accepted.Our package reception hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please be aware that we do not accept cash-on-delivery shipments.
- Is it possible to store my luggage after check-out?

Yes, you can store your luggage after check-out at the co-working space on the 1st floor.
Storage hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM. Please ensure to collect your luggage by 6 PM, as staff will not be available after that time.
- How do I check in?

Our facility features a tablet-based self-check-in system, and you will need an unlock code for entry. Please check the information in the email sent before your arrival.
Check-In Steps:
1. You will receive an email titled "Request for Guest Information Registration." Please register your name on the guest list using the URL provided.
*While you can register at check-in using the tablet, it may be easier to complete this on your own device beforehand.2. The day before your arrival, you will receive an email titled "Instructions for Entry and Check-In." Please read it carefully.
*Important information in the email includes: (1) Entrance Key Code for the guest entrance and (2) check-in code.3. You can enter and check in starting at 3 PM. Please enter the entrance key code at the guest entrance to enter the facility.
*Staff will be available on the 1st floor until 6 PM for any assistance.4. Proceed to the 2nd floor and enter the check-in code on the tablet located at the entrance.
5. Once check-in is complete, the tablet will display your room key code (3).
*An email with the room key code will also be automatically sent to your registered email address. For your convenience, we recommend taking a photo of the entry instructions displayed on the tablet.6. To enter your room, simply enter the room key code (3) on the room door's keypad.
- Can I use the co-working space before or after check-in

Yes, you can. The co-working space is available for free from 9 AM on the check-in day until 6 PM on the check-out day. Guests do not need to register for co-working space membership.
- Are there any curfews?

There are no curfews after check-in. You can enter and exit through the 24-hour entrance.
Please note that the facility does not have soundproofing, so we kindly ask you to keep noise to a minimum during late-night or early morning entries and exits.
- Can I check in before 3 PM?

Room cleaning occurs between 10 AM and 3 PM. You can check in as soon as your room is ready.
About the Hotel
- Can I make a reservation by phone?

Unfortunately, we do not accept phone reservations. Please make your booking and payment through our online reservation page.
- How many guests can stay?

We offer accommodations for up to 11 guests, including one twin room, three single rooms, and one six-bed dormitory.
- Can I stay with children?

Unfortunately, our facility does not allow children under elementary school age (even if accompanied by a guardian).
For guests under 18 years old (including high school students), you can stay without a guardian by submitting a parental consent form by 12:00 PM the day before check-in.

- What is a dormitory room like?

Our dormitory room accommodates up to six guests in a mixed-gender shared space.
It features three bunk beds, divided into two areas: a four-bed area (A–D) and a two-bed area (E–F). If there is availability, we can accommodate requests for upper or lower bunk beds. However, we may not always be able to meet your preferences depending on booking conditions. Please contact us in advance if you have specific requests.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we ask that you respect fellow occupants and behave considerately. Please do not bring large luggage, such as suitcases, into the room; instead, use the luggage space provided. Additionally, we kindly request that you refrain from spreading personal items on the floor, desk, or chairs.
- Is smoking allowed?

Our facility is entirely non-smoking, and there are no designated smoking areas. Additionally, for fire safety reasons, we prohibit the disposal of cigarette butts in any trash bins within the facility.
- Can I eat and drink in the rooms?

Eating and drinking are allowed in the single and twin private rooms.
In the dormitory room, food is not permitted; only plastic bottles are allowed. For meals, please use the co-living space on the 3rd floor or the coworking space on the 1st floor.
- Are there washing machines available?

Yes, we have two washing machines and two dryers available for free use from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Laundry detergent can be purchased for 100 yen per pack. On sunny days, you can also use the drying area on the rooftop. Additionally, there is a coin laundry located just a three-minute walk away.
- Is there parking available for motorcycles or bicycles?

We do not have designated parking for motorcycles or bicycles at our facility. Additionally, parking for long periods in front of the building is not allowed, as it is a roadway.
However, there is limited indoor space available for parking. Indoor parking is only permitted during staff hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and space is limited. If you wish to park indoors, please be sure to contact us in advance.
- Is there parking available?

We do not have parking at our facility. We kindly ask that you use the nearby coin parking options.
- What type of accommodation is Kotori Takamatsu?
-
Kotori Takamatsu is a hostel offering simple, room-only stays without amenities. Please note that our facilities differ from traditional hotels.
Our rooms are not soundproof, so we ask that you be considerate of other guests, especially at night and early morning. Shared facilities include shower rooms, toilets, sinks, a kitchen, refrigerator, and television.
There is no elevator, and the staircase can be steep, so please be cautious with large luggage.
The coworking space on the 1st floor is free to use from 9:00 AM on check-in day until 6:00 PM on check-out day.
On the 3rd floor, you'll find a kitchen and co-living space for cooking and dining.
Supermarkets and convenience stores are just a three-minute walk away, along with many popular udon shops in the nearby shopping district. Ritsurin Garden, a beautiful park known for its scenic views, is a 15-minute walk away.
- Are there staff on-site?

Yes, our staff is on-site from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The community manager is available to assist with your stay and travel planning, so feel free to reach out.
Please note that there are no staff members on-site from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM. For inquiries during these hours, please call the emergency contact number provided after you make your reservation.
About the Coworking Space
- What payment methods are accepted for the coworking space?

Payments for the coworking space are cashless only. You can pay using credit cards, electronic money, and QR code payments.

d払い - Can you tell me about the meeting rooms in the coworking space?

Meeting Rooms (Free)
We have two meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 3 people, available for use at no additional charge. Please limit your usage to 2 hours to allow others to share the space. Extensions are possible if there are no subsequent reservations.Reservations for the meeting rooms can be made on the day starting at 9:00 AM using the whiteboard on-site. Reservations cannot be made via phone or email.
Each room has a speakerphone equipped with a webcam, usable only in the meeting rooms.
- Can I make phone calls in the coworking space?

Phone Calls
While phone calls are allowed within the facility, please use earphones in open seating areas as calls on speaker is not permitted. We kindly ask that you consider the volume, content, and duration of your calls to respect other users. You can enjoy using a speakerphone in the meeting rooms, which offer a more private space for your conversations. Feel free to take advantage of this option! - Can I bring guests to the coworking space during my stay?

Yes, non-registered guests can use the coworking space for a fee of 1,500 yen from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
